Enjoy a quick TV spot that takes you on a ride with the all-new
Kia Soul! Already drawing praise, the Kia Soul is one of the
most highly anticipated cars to be released in the near future.
In addition to the Kia Soul launch, Kia is featuring some new
green concepts at the Paris Motor Show. Here is a video taken
about these four vehicles on display in line with Kias global
eco-friendly initiatives. Michael Choo gives us a sneak peek of
the ceed ISG, Soul and ceed hybrids, and the Sportage FCEV
directly from the Kia stand in Paris.
Kia Soul Hybrid SUV Crossover
This particular Soul features a 1.6-liter gasoline engine mated to an electric motor that delivers an output of 15 kW and 105 Nm of torque. Power is driven
to the front wheels via Kia´s own CVT (continuously variable transmission) while the Soul Hybrid’s batteries are charged through regenerative braking. Kia
Soul Hybrid Crossover According to Kia’s preliminary specs, the prototype is designed to return an average fuel consumption of 4.9 lt/100 km or 48 MPG
US and a CO2 figure of 117 g/km – reducing CO2 emissions by 26.4% compared to the conventional Soul 1.6L. [carscoop.blospot.com]
