Peugot 3008 Prologue HYbrid4 |
Derived from the fusion of different worlds, the Prologue HYbrid4 concept car lifted a corner of the veil on a new type of cross-over vehicle at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. Anticipating future trends, this concept announced and revealed the new 3008, as much through its architecture and its style, as its interior ambience, its modularity and its original high-tech equipment. However Prologue also announced a new generation of hybrid HDi FAP technology, called “HYbrid4” allowing 4 wheel drive. In fact, thanks to this technology, this spacious 147 kW (200 bhp) car offers unexpected levels of performance combined with significantly reduced CO2 emissions: 109 g/km in the combined cycle, or zero in electric only mode! Therefore, in 2011, the 3008 will be the first car in the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group’s range to benefit from this technology in production. [peugot.com] |
